Bolanle Popoola attended Ladoke Akintola University Nigerian where she obtained Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science. She proceeded to the premier University of Ibadan where she obtained Masters Degree in Food Technology and another in Human Nutrition and Dietetics in 2022. Currently she is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Human Nutrition and Dietetics at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile – Ife, Osun State Nigeria.
Bolanle Popoola is a passionate early career researcher whose research interest focuses on nutritional science with specific interest in metabolic nutrition and nutrient analysis, food safety, processing and value addition of neglected or under-utilized plant based foods to promote health and wellbeing of Nigeria populace. She is also has a great concern in understanding the nutrition of vulnerable groups specifically the women of reproductive age. She collaborates with other researchers in other areas in nutrition and has currently published about seven (7) nutrition related articles in reputable journals. Bolanle popoola is a member of American Society for Nutrition, Agriculture, Nutrition and Health Academy.
